Description:

A 7th grade science teacher will show how he uses Web 2.0 tools for students to record lab data. This activity addresses critical thinking, and problem solving. He will also demonstrate Big Huge Labs Motivator to show how students can use a photograph and in their own words, demonstrate understanding of a concept. This activity addresses creativity and innovation. An elementary teacher will showcase “Dear Michelle Project” which uses digital storytelling and Ning. And last, we will demonstrate awesome classroom examples for Glogster from various teachers.

Whe you are finished revising your unit plan, please upload in this community space. Follow the directions below:

1. Create a discussion thread (to do this, look in the Actions box in the right hand column--select "Start a discussion").
2. Summarize the changes you have made to your unit plan in the discussion area. Add your Unit Plan title plus the word "revised" in the subject header.
3. Upload the unit plan document
4. Tag the thread: "revised_UP" and whatever else you would like to tag it to help people find it in a search scenario.
5. Save
6. GO TO Revised Unit Plans from Asia ST Summit 2009and add the discussion link you just created to the Wiki document so all links to each unit plan are in one location.
