Project-Based Learning defines as a systematic teaching method that engages students in learning knowledge and skills through extended inquiry process. This involves students in design, decision making, or investigate activities because this is a long-term process.
PBL makes me think of what will be my role as teacher? During the discussion of our facilitator here in our seminar, my mind mustered some possible roles as being a teacher. Probably my roles will be: a) being supportive to the students by giving guidance and feedback b) able to explain all tasks by providing detailed directions how to develop the project c) encourage student motivation and participation; and of course, d) assess students' work by means of a Rubric.
I'm praying to God that these thing will be realized for this coming School Year so that it will be meaningful. A million thanks to the mentors and trainers for opening up our minds on this interesting method. We salute you.....The Lord will bless you even more..
