Jason Onohler has a real neat website that talks about the different stages of digital storytelling. In the article, the World of Digital Storytelling, he discusses the different stages. Also on his website, you have access to handouts, videos and keynote addresses.
On the other hand, David Jakes presents a different view for creating digital stories. Also on David's Jakes website, you have access to articles, sample videos, links to software tutorials as well as classroom activities.
I recently found "Storybird." You get to use art by a wide variety of artists, selecting the images you want in your story. Then you add the text! You can't print the yet, but that is coming. I just love the beautiful images!
