Screen Chomp is a free app for creating and sharing short tutorials or lessons on your iPad. ScreenChomp provides a whiteboard on which you can demonstrate things by drawing and talking people through your instructions. ScreenChomp records your voice as you go. When you finish your recording share it to ScreenChomp.com where a shortened URL will be provided for you to share with anyone you like. From ScreenChomp.com you have the option to download recordings as MPEG-4 files.

I really like the easy recording style of Screenchomp and the use of TechSmith's online viewing and downloading. Have you had any experience with getting the online videos deleted? The app says it can remove from the device, but I don't see options for removing from online.
I've been enjoying using the free PhotoPad drawing and saving the pictures, but it doesn't do any voice-overs.
Thanks for sharing!!
(Hope the year is treating you well!!)
I actually spoke with the Techsmith guys at the Texas Computer Educators Association conference and they said that there is no way to delte videos uploaded to their online site. You can request the removal via email.
They are working on an update that would address the concerns of other educators that very much enjoy using ScreenChomp! Yea!
Updating my previous favorite iPad sharing tool list to include Showme.
ShowMe does a great job of not only using the photo media from your iPad, drawing tools for annotating, and recording the audio, but I REALLY like the options for sharing the video that was made. I was very quickly able to share to a website address that ShowMe generated. Students do not need email access (often a barrier to success in some classrooms) but just need to copy the address from the app and share with the teacher or peers.
For example, http://www.showme.com/sh/?h=Vr4Bqbo was made very quickly for this demonstration and is shared online. No login is needed to to view this video, but I can share just with friends or only my account for privacy.
This is the one I will use first with students now that the app has been updated and is working very nicely!
