Each classroom has a maximum of 17 children.
It will be great to see and share the photos with my students. We have small classes, so to hear that one teach has 40 students at one time is astounding. Your country highly values education, and that is wonderful. There also seems to be good parental support, and the students are eager to learn. I wish them much success.
I like this idea. I once taught adult education, and some people who could have come to the class were too embarrassed that they couldn't read or write at their age. I tried to make the environment comfortable, and a setting in which we all learned something from each other. Many of those people who were afraid to come started coming when they saw that they environment was less intimidating. We had fun learning.
yes Cáp Xuân Tú. I used mind map in my class room. During the process of learning Children in the grade 6 to 9 draw mind map for all the subject. They draw the mind map by taking the main concept at the center. Since I am a teacher Educator i am going to more than 25 schools per month. I am using the software “Concept Draw Mind map PRO v5.5” for the schools having computers. Using this software we can draw mind maps with the help of computer. If you are interested using technology in the class room please use “ConceptDraw Mindmap PRO v5.5” software.

This is my first post. I thinking the learning enviroment is very important. The learning environment in my Media Center is very cozy, friendly and flexible. The Media Center is rarely closed and the students and staff check in and out materials independently, except for Kindergarten.
Thank you Debra. Your class room environment is highly technological. I think it is one to one class room. Can you share about the role of teacher in this one to one interaction? . In our country (India) only very few international schools only have one to one interaction type. Please mention the evaluation system used in the one to one interaction type class room.
eMINTS is an educational program designed to train educators of children in the United States. The program's goals focus on technology in the classroom as well as social interaction and student research. The program began in the US state of Missouri. It was originally an acronym for "enhancing Missouri's Instructional Networked Teaching Strategies", but is now used in Utah, Illinois, Maine, Minnesota, Nevada, and Ohio as well.
The program is now being used with over 20,000 students in third to twelfth grade.
eMINTS professional development uses interactive group sessions and in-classroom coaching/mentoring to help teachers integrate technology into their teaching using an instructional model that supports high-quality lesson design, promotes inquiry-based learning, creates technology-rich learning environments, and builds community among students and teachers. These components comprise eMINTS's instructional model.
eMINTS professional development is available from eMINTS staff instructional specialists and through a “train-the-trainer” program called Professional Development for Educational Technology Specialists (PD4ETS)
Wright City R-II School District has four eMINTS classrooms and two eMINTS/METS classrooms. The eMINTS classrooms are eMINTS equipped and the teachers have completed the comprehensive two year training program. These classrooms have a 1:2 computer to student ratio, interactive SMART Board and projector, digital camera, scanner, printer. Students and teachers use these technology resources and the eMINTS instructional model to transform the learning environment where students reach beyond the walls of the classroom to gain more comprehensive understandings, to build enthusiasm and creativity and empower inquiry based learning.
