    Did you know....

     

    • Did you know that the first Intel Teach program which began in 1998 was named Intel ACE?

           Over 1200 teachers were trained in 6 Western US states which directly impacted 50,000 students.

     

    • Did you know since 2000,The Intel® Teach program has trained more than 6 million teachers in over 40 countries?

     

    • Intel Corporate, a long-time supporter of innovative education programs, saw a growing need for teacher professional development that would help teachers integrate the use of computers into their existing currcula.
    • Intel® Teach to the Future has grown from 6 U.S. regions in 2001 to over 50 countries training more than 6 million teachers to date. From 2002 to 2006, the Intel® Teach program experienced huge growth for training in our worldwide countries; Argentina, Australia, Austria, Brazil, Canada, China (People's Republic of), Costa Rica, Estonia, France, Germany, India, Ireland, Israel, Italy, Japan, Jordan, Korea, Malaysia, Mexico, Pakistan, Philippines, Poland, Russia, South Africa, Switzerland, Taiwan, Thailand, Turkey, United Kingdom, and the United States.
    • Motivated by the Intel Teach Program, two teachers from the U.S. and Australiaengaged their students in a cross cultural, environmental research project which inspired them to make changes to improve the environment in their communities.
