    Connecting Teachers and Learners (CTL)

We are working to flip the learning environment through video blogs, student artifacts, lesson plans, and helpful tools for teachers while focusing on the content. It is our goal to provide teachers with a road map, giving them step by step directions on how to effectively impact student learning in this digital era. This section will grow as we interview different teachers who effectively leverage technology in the classroom.

A new program at Bertie County High School will help lead students to a career path in criminal justice. The NC Department of Corrections officials says the program allows high school students to take community college classes starting their junior year.

Successful completion of the high school course work in this cadet program will result in credit toward an associate's degree in criminal justice at area community colleges according to Stephanie Cottle, CTE Coordinator.
