Alternatives to Engage Group Features

    Users no longer have the ability to create a new group space in Engage. All existing groups and group content will be available through June 30, 2017. Below is a list of alternative sites that have group features similar to Engage that you can explore.



    Mightybell offers an online community designed for mobile and intended for entrepreneurs and company innovators. They offer a free option up to 1,000 members, with paid options for larger communities.



    Groupbox is a free website to create online groups. Like Engage groups, you can customize the look of your group with design templates and the ability to upload a group logo. You can also control who can join or view your online group.


    Google Groups

    Google Groups is a free tool that allows you to create different group types including email lists, web forums, Q&A forums, and collaborative inboxes. The group leader can set permissions for group members.



    Lefora offers free group forums and includes administrative and forum management tools as well as responsive themes and features such as chat rooms, polls, post editing and more.



    Ning offers a community that allows for sub-groups, forums, publishing tools, social integration, custom design, privacy and moderation controls and more. Ning is a paid for service starting at $25 per month. There is a 14-day free trial on plans.
