In case you are not a member of ISTE you may not have seen a shout out for teachnology comics (see below). Since there have been a couple of past discussions sharing resources and ideas:

I thought that it would be a good idea to share with this community. Keep us posted if you submit an entry- especially if it gets selected.  Good luck to you and your students.

The ISTE Daily Leader is seeking comics for potential publication in the newspaper of record for ISTE’s annual conference and exposition, ISTE 2012 in San Diego, June 24–27.

      Here are the details:

      • Create a comic displaying something funny about technology in education or the ISTE conference. Use the comic-creation technology or method of your choice. Comics can be a single panel or up to three panels.
      • The submission must be original and never published before, and a submission constitutes permission for publication in the Daily Leader.
      • Comic creators can be kids or adults, but the comic should be appropriate for an audience of all ages.
      • Be sure to include the comic creator’s name, age, and location (institution, city, state/province, and country), and mention the technology used to create the comic.
      • Please submit as many entries as you like as .jpg files with a minimum resolution of 300 dpi.
      • Submit your entries by email to Associate Editor Andra Brichacek (abrichacek@iste.org) by June 1 to be considered for publication.
      • The staff of the Daily Leader will choose four comics from all submissions for publication (one for each issue of the paper during the four days of ISTE 2012). The staff will notify all submitters of their acceptance status by June 24, 2012.
