Computer Science Student Network now has Scratch!

We have added MIT Media Lab's Scratch to our family on Computer Science Student Network.

      See Scratch Here.

      What IS Scratch?

Scratch is a programming language that uses blocks of different color and shape to represent the various parts of coding. These blocks visually snap together to create scripts. Due to this drag and drop method, it is easy to see, edit, and test the scripts and their parts.  As people create and share Scratch projects, they learn important mathematical and computational ideas, while also learning to think creatively, reason systematically, and work collaboratively.

Scratch is a project of the Lifelong Kindergarten group at the MIT Media Lab.  It is available for free download from http://scratch.mit.edu.
