This module taught me that there are multiple purposes, methods and instruments that can be used in assessing the students’ project. The timeline and plans help me assess effectively and accurately. I can use rubrics and scoring guides in assessment. It is important to assess the students during the project and at the end of project.
This time, students are evaluated on the basis of their projects, rather than on their tests and quizzes, assessment of project – based work is often more meaningful to the students. They quickly see how academic work can connect on their real world and may even be inspired to pursue a career that relates to the project they developed.
