    Six- Word Memoirs

      Do you know what a Six-Word Memoir is? Six word memoirs are sometimes sad, often funny — and always concise.  See additional examples

       

       

      Once asked to write a full story in six words, legend has it that novelist Ernest Hemingway responded: "For Sale: baby shoes, never worn."

       

      I’ve used 6 Word Memoirs with both students and teachers. I will post some examples.
