Come one… Come All… Teachers Engage is having a Virtual Makers Faire

Are you creative? Do you consider yourself innovative? Are you a Maker who likes to turn an idea into a real-world object? What about your students? Do they create, problem solve and think critically? If you answered YES to any of the above, then this is the place to share your creations, ideas and inventions.

In the past few years, the Makers Movement has taken a lead role in reaching beyond the boundaries of creativity and innovation.

In our Makers Faire, we are bringing innovators like yourself together to share ideas, resources and to have a conversation about how to implement a Makers Movement in your classroom and or district. Do you have any plans to create a MakerSpace at your campus? Share digital artifacts about how you are using the Makers Movement in your classroom, school district or community.

The Maker’s Manual is a collaboration between Intel and the PSFK/Team. The Maker’s Manual showcases “everyone from do-it-yourselfers and artists to inventors and entrepreneurs.  It is a place for leveraging new tools, platforms and services to take ideas from concepts to reality.”

Again, we would love to see your Creativity and Innovation in our community so here is your task.

      • Share your ideas, creations and or Maker Project using a digital artifact.

      • Share your story behind your idea and or classroom project.

      • Share how you have implemented or plan to implement your idea/project in your classroom/school district.

Share your ideas between Aug 20 and October 25 to be entered into a 3 kit bundle of MaKey MaKey The Original Invention Kit for Everyone. In order to qualify for the drawing, your post must meet all three of the above criteria.

Note: This drawing will only become active when a minimum of 10 participants respond, which means in some cases, the drawing will take place after the above mentioned date. For a complete description and eligibility of Engage community drawings, click on the Intel Bunny Person.
