The ICT@Schools Scheme launched by MHRD, Govt of India has a component for awarding teachers for innovative use of ICTs in Teaching-Learning process. In all there are 87 Awards allocated to states/UTs and autonomous organisations working in school education sector under MHRD.
Now, Nominations/ entries for National ICT Award for School Teachers-2015 are invited from school teachers. The contest is open to teachers working in schools from all over India.
States/UTs/Autonomous organisations under MHRD-GOI (KVS, NVS, CBSE,CICSE, CTSA, AEES, Sainik Schools under Ministry of Defence (MOD)etc.) are to submit shortlisted entries in order of merit (twice the number of their allotted awards quota) to the Joint Director, CIET-NCERT, Sri Aurobindo Marg, New Delhi-110016 by 30 June, 2015.
