Learning Pathways-February-April 2015-Celebrating Women that Have Changed the World-Trading Cards

bunnyatwork_small.jpg Intel Engage would like for you to help us celebrate Women’s History Month, Black History Month as well as International Women’s Day where we highlight the contributions of women  in history and in our present day society who have changed the world.

Women's History Month is an annual event that highlights the contributions of women in history and in our contemporary society.

Black History Month is an important time to honor the great achievements, contributions and struggles of the black community in the United States.

International Women’s Day which is celebrated every year on March 8 is dedicated to recognizing the respect, appreciation and love towards women by celebration for women's economic, political, and social achievements.

In honor of these celebrations we would like for you participate in our Inspiring Women Trading Card Activity.

      1. Choose a woman in history (past or present)  that has made a significant contribution to society.
      2. Create a Inspiring Women Trading Card and include the following:
        • A Picture
        • When did your person live or when did the important events occur in that person’s life
        • Where did the person live or experience the event
        • What was their job or event or how did this person make a significant contribution to society
      3. Post your Inspiring Women Trading Card
      4. If someone else likes your Trading card they can choose to copy your Card and paste or copy the image in a new post, but share why this person also inspires them.
      5. Share what application you used to create your Trading Card.

We are looking for the person who has posted or has collected the most Trading Cards during this activity. When you repost a card that counts as a collection. So share you Trading Card, come back later and collect as many cards as you like.

Participate in our Learning Pathways Thread between February 18, 2015 and April 19, 2015 to be entered into a drawing for a prize of your choosing!

Note: This drawing will only become active when a minimum of 10 participants respond, which means in some cases, the drawing will take place after the above mentioned date. For a complete description and eligibility of Engage community drawings, click on the Intel Bunny Person.
