I love how intel.com/teachers takes you to all of the Intel Education free teaching resources including the Engage Community. I also love how you can get to the Community from the Thinking Tools website. Thinks I wish for in Community (I'm not sure if I should post them in this session)
- Links opening in another window without you having to insert htlm code.
- The option of staying logged on like in Facebook or other sites.
Other than those above, I'm very happy with all site (s).
Alison –a question on navigation
When you go to the tools – and you are looking at them- there used to be a way to get back to all the tools- the ability to get to a Tools landing page that had all the Thinking Tools, Assessing Projects and Help Guide. Now the breadcrumb link for Teaching Tools -goes to: http://www.intel.com/about/corporateresponsibility/education/k12/index.htmand from this page I have to Click on Thinking Tools to see all of the Tools.
To me it seems strange that from one of the tools pages- such as Visual Ranking I can't get to the other Tools with one click and now it is multiple clicks.
Was this intentional? thanks for looking into it- Julia
You're right - thanks for the catch. The "Teaching Tools" breadcrumb should go to www.intel.com/teachers or change to "thinking tools" and go to that page (i'd prefer /teachers, to get back to everything...I'll ask for the change).
